the field
the same field as the desk, larger. left is the well where new dots wait. the middle is the trail, where dots rest under price. the right is the basin, where dots that fired and paired stay with their locked pool shares.
FIELDdots at work
| what you see | what it means |
|---|---|
| a dot in the well | it was just spawned and has not been placed yet |
| a dot in the trail | it is a resting bid. the closer to the price line, the smaller the fall that sets it off |
| a dot gliding right | a buy lifted the price and the dot walked up behind it |
| dots drifting left | price is rising faster than their stride. the picture shifts, the dots did not move down |
| a ring bursting off a dot | it fired. price reached its home and it bought |
| a line between two dots | a relay. the upper dot passed part of its charge down before buying |
| grey specks rising | a burn. part of what the dot bought is gone |
| a dot crossing into the basin | it paired its tokens with sol into the pool. the shares are locked in its account |
| a line back to the well | leftover sol returned to the well for the next spawn |
| a bigger dot | more charge, usually from relays |
KEYhow to read it
a dot only ever moves forward through these states. nothing sends it back, and nothing takes shares out of a pooled dot.
